Carménère (kahr-meh-nehr) this grape originates from Médoc region Bordeaux, France.

The 2018 vintage is sourced from a single vineyard within the Heathcote wine region. Warm growing conditions and extended vine ripening has produced a delicate medium-bodied wine.

This vintage has an integration of dark cherry, spicy and savoury characters with a delicate balance of herbaceous tones of bell peppers and herbal elements. The fine balance of oak and acid has created a moreish finish of complexity and length.

The wine was matured in 100% used French oak for 12 months and will continue to improve with further cellaring.
